Dentist Office Protocols to Keep you Safe from Covid-19

Even though the world remains in an uncertain state, we have been so grateful to be able to reopen our office doors. We have implemented a number of new office protocols that appear to be successful in keeping both our staff and patients safe. With our waiting room currently closed, patients are calling to check in when they arrive to the parking lot. A covid-19 related questionnaire is sent to patients’ cell phones, which is completed prior to being seen for treatment. A member of our dental team greets the patient at the door, where the patient sanitizes their hands and has their temperature taken. In those situations where it has been necessary for family members to accompany the patient in the treatment room, masks have been required. Our dental team has always been extremely thorough, and followed all guidelines, in sterilizing, sanitizing and preparing instruments and the individual treatment rooms for each patient, and continue to maintain that level of preparation.  We feel that by making these few additions to our already thorough protocols we have kept our office a safe, clean environment. We appreciate the trust you have given us in coming to your appointments.

While we are still at the mercy of outside mandates to close our office, as happened in March and April, we collectively feel confident that we will be able to continue seeing our patients and are scheduling appointments through the remainder of this year and into next year. For our patients that have been treated since May, but did not schedule a six-month follow up appointment, we would be happy to get you on the schedule. For any patients that were due to be seen in March, April, or May (or any month prior to that), please call the office today to schedule an appointment. Our fall schedule is filling up quickly, but you are a priority and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

We feel so blessed to have so many amazing patients and are grateful you are a part of our Cannon Family Dental family. We hope each of you are doing well, and look forward to continuing to provide you with the high quality care you’ve come to expect from our practice.

Sincerely,

Your friends at Cannon Family Dental
